District Six Teachers of the Year

Fairforest Elementary School Teacher Michele Davenport named "District Teacher of the Year."

 

Michele Davenport was recently named District Six Teacher of the Year. She is in her 16th year of teaching. Even at an early age, Michele said she knew that teaching was the career choice for her. "When I heard my name called as District Teacher of the Year I was absolutely stunned," Michele said, "To be among such a select group of chosen teachers out of our wonderful district and then to be chosen as the one for such a recognition was an absolute honor.
