Flu Prevention

According to the CDC, flu season in the United States has begun and many areas are experiencing high levels of flu activity.  District Six would like to remind you of various ways we can work together to help keep children healthy. Please check out the flyer below from the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control with tips on preventing the spread of the flu.

IMPORTANT REMINDER:

You must keep your child at home if he or she has a fever of 100 degrees or higher with a cough and/or sore throat.  Children with the flu will need to stay home until the fever is gone for 24 hours without taking medicines to reduce the fever.
