RES Celebrates Sweet Success

Roebuck Elementary School students celebrated sweet victory after raising more than $5,000 for the American Cancer Society. Principal Annie Means told the students that if they raised the money she would allow them to turn her into an ice-cream sunday. The students worked extra hard through Jump Rope for Heart and Hoops for Hearts and surpassed their goal. The students covered their principal in chocolate, vanilla and strawberry ice-cream and all the toppings they could get their hands on. This is not the first time the Roebuck Eagles have raised money for an important cause. Just recently the school raised more than $18,000 for Relay for Life!
