Dorman Wins AAAA Director Athletic Cup

Dorman High School was awarded the AAAA Athletic Directors Cup Award for the 2009-2010 school year at the South Carolina High School League headquarters in Columbia, SC. This award was presented on September 1, 2010 and is given by the South Carolina Athletic Administrators Association based on the school's superior performance in athletics.  Director's Cup points are earned by the school's finish in the state play-offs in each sport.  

Dorman High School has won this award for four out of the last six years including in 2004-2005, 2005-2006, 2007-2008, 2009-2010.  The Cavaliers were able to bring home three state championships this past year including volleyball, football and girl's track.  They also had two state runner-ups in girls golf and girls cross country in addition to many other top ten finishes in state play-off action.

Congratulation to our outstanding athletes, coaches, support personnel, administrators, teachers and fans for helping us win this prestigious award.
