District Six Named to AP Honor Roll

Spartanburg School District Six is honored to receive AP Honor Roll recognition again this year.  This award recognizes the increase in AP opportunities provided to students at Dorman High School while maintaining or increasing scores on student AP exams.

DHS Principal Mr. Ken Kiser says, "This recognition reflects the dedication of our students, teachers, administrators, parents, Superintendent, and Board of Trustees to making sure that ALL students receive a first class education. The AP District Honor Roll recognition demonstrates that we are increasing access to our AP courses for all students while maintaining high performance levels on the AP exams."

Spartanburg School District 6 is the only school district in the state to receive this special recognition multiple years.

District Six Superintendent Dr. Darryl Owings says, I am extremely proud of the hard-working students, dedicated teachers and administrators of Dorman High School and Dorman Freshman Campus. Our team works extremely hard to create an atmosphere conducive to college and career readiness by offering students the rigor and support needed to be successful beyond high school graduation."
