Cavs Football Player Makes History

Dorman High School football player Charone Peake has been selected to play in the 2011 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. This is the first time in Dorman History that a player has received such an honor. U.S. Army representatives, Cavs head football coach Dave Gutshall, and fellow athletes were on hand for the official invitation and presentation of Peake’s U.S. Army All-American Bowl Jersey on October 5th. This game features the nation’s top 90 high school players in an East versus West competition. Peake was selected out of thousands of the country’s top prospects by the U.S. Army All-American Charone PeakeBowl Selection Committee. "Charone is a talented athlete whose exemplary leadership and teamwork qualities have made him a standout at Dorman High School," said All-American Bowl Representative Col. Derik Crotts. The game will take place on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the Alamodome in San Antonio,TX. It will be televised live on NBC at 1:00 pm.
