School Closing Announcement

The National Weather Service announced Thursday, January 21, that a strong storm system will begin impacting our area overnight with the likelihood of significant amounts of snow, sleet and freezing rain beginning after midnight - continuing through Friday and into Saturday. Emergency personnel are urging extreme caution and encouraging residents to stay off the roads.

Due to the Winter Storm warning, Spartanburg County School Districts 1-7 schools will be closed for the day on Friday, January 22, 2016.  This safety precaution is being enforced by all Spartanburg County School Districts as potential accumulations of ice are expected to make road conditions extremely hazardous.

The SAT scheduled for Saturday, January 24 has been cancelled by all Districts and will be rescheduled for a later date.
