Spartanburg School District Six Choral Arts Program is comprised of five school campuses and approximately 900 singers representing grades 5-12. The district singers participate in festival and competitions on state and national levels for solo and ensemble work. The elementary, middle, and high school programs receive Superior ratings for competitive and non-competitive performances and sight reading demonstrations. Members of the ensembles are represented in honor choirs of South Carolina Music Educators Association and American Choral Directors Association. Members also participate and compete in programs sponsored by National Association of Teachers of Singing, National Federation of Music Clubs, and Lawson Academy of the Arts at Converse College.
