Dorman High School football player Charone Peake has been selected to play in the 2011 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. This is the first time in Dorman History that a player has received such an honor.

Pizza for a Year
Two Spartanburg School District Six teachers are the recipients of The Papa John's Teacher Appreciation Awards. Fairforest Elementary first-grade teacher Louise Gwinn and Fairforest Middle School ELA teacher Katherine Malone were presented with plaques and a free classroom pizza party, on behalf of Papa John's.

Spartanburg School District Six honored its retirees on Wednesday, May 19th. A reception was held at the District Office in honor of the thirty retirees.
